Unit 506: Servicing Dental Equipment

Aim: To help students gain a thorough understanding of the use, maintenance, testing and servicing of all the main dental industry devices and equipment.

Objectives:
Throughout this unit, participants will:

1. Learn to operate the following devices and equipment: dental operating unit, dental aspiration, dental amalgamators, luxor light, dental x-ray, dental processors, bench top sterilisers, de-scalers, dental compressors, dental laboratory equipment, and ancillary equipment.
2. Further this understanding by learning to test, service and practise basic fault-finding techniques with this equipment.
3. Learn the key health and safety procedures, documentation and legislation for these devices.

Course cost is £749.50 plus VAT per delegate
