New Apprenticeship Scheme

Servicing Medical Equipment

Course commencement on dates to meet with your requirement

The Medical Room is please to announce the launch of a new Apprenticeship Scheme for the Medical Engineering sector, Servicing Medical Equipment.  This exciting course consists of two parts: 

 

The course will consist of a mix of theoretical learning and practical instruction into the fundamental principles of being able to technically support medical equipment in a modern healthcare environment,

 

The complete breakdown of the course content can be downloaded, along with the Certificate timetable and Extended Diploma timetable.

 

  • Importantly the whole content of the course can be accessed from your own local Trust.  

  • Delivery will consist of a mix of online theory interspersed with hands on practical sessions in your own workshop environment or at a nearby easily accessible Trust.

  • A Government recognised Apprenticeship Scheme with access to fund the course through the new Apprenticeship Levy scheme.  Alternatively Training Funding is still available until 2018 through the existing Framework funding schemes, which could mean no cost to you for an Apprentice who is under 19.
