We are seeking an experienced Medical Engineer to join our team immediately to assist with rapidly expanding workload coming through our medical engineering workshop..

You will be working in one of UK's fastest growing vendor independent provider of medical equipment.  Having recently moved into a brand new purpose built facility they now require an additional experience engineer to fulfil their new contracts they that have secured with Leading Hospitals across the UK.  Based in their workshop in Cambridgeshire will be part of a very dynamic environment in a modern fresh environment.  The objective of the role is to provide a wide range of repair and calibration services equipment that has been sent to us for contract repair. You will be involved with all levels of equipment from patient monitoring through to highly sophisticated operating theatre devices.  You will be conducting annual PM checks, Electrical safety testing and emergency repairs.  Once completed the equipment is returned to our clients.  In addition you may be involved with contact maintenance support, visiting client sites and providing a repair service around the UK.

This role will require you to be able to work unsupervised with al types of medical device testers, in addition to Electrical Safety testing, therefore knowledge of equipment class and type is essential.  In addition you may be required to conduct routine annual safety checks and perform functional checks on equipment as required by the client.

In addition you will be required to provide reactive technical support fro the common range of medical devices being received in the Medical Engineering arena on a daily bases from common patient monitoring equipment, through to Infusion Pumps, Syringe Drivers and Critical care equipment found in the operating theatre. 

The successful candidate will be a recognised medical engineer who is familiar with UK medical device safety protocols and has previously worked in a UK NHS Hospital environment within the past two years.
