Software Engineer (Medical Device - Permanent) - Greater Birmingham

Due to rapid growth the following dynamic position has arisen for an experienced Software Engineer to work for this key player in the medical devices industry:

Key responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test and control the release of new software applications and modules used by clinicians and researchers on medical devices.
  • Support formal validation of products.
  • Contribute to design decisions and discussions with project teams.
  • Involved in all aspects of lifecycle from capturing product development requirements through to end release and support.

Working in a fast-paced dynamic environment you must be flexible in your ability to effectively deal with varying workloads, possessing the ability to apply your analytical skills to deftly troubleshoot and resolve development issues as they arise.


You must have a degree in Computer Science and and process information quickly. Ideally you will be familiar with: .NET using C# and Visual Basic.

Preferred languages (but not essential):

VB.Net, WPF, XAML (Visual Studio, Windows 10), and C++.

This is a permanent position based in the West Midlands.
