Our Client, Central London based requires a Radiotherapy Engineer with immediate effect.  This is an exciting role in a major London hospital providing world leading Cancer Treatments with a suite of Varian Truebeam Linear Accelerators.

You will be joining a small team who provide a range of tasks from daily running up of the machines first thing in the morning, planned QA testing in accordance with manufactures guidlines and finally reactive corrective maintenance as required.  It is coorective maintenance that is likely to take up most of your time. 

The hospital provides availability of their machines from 8.00 am until 6.00 pm and therefore the technical support team operates a two shift system of early morning and then late evenings so flexibility on working will be required.

The successful person will be an experienced radiotherapy engineer preferably trained by Varian although consideration will be given to training on Elekta linear accelarators. You will need to be an effective communicator and have the ability to work on your initiative in situations likely to be under pressure.
