Our Client is based in the South Midlands in a modern NHS Trust hospital. Due work pressures we require a Band 5 Medical Engineer for an assignment for the remainder of this summer.
You will be working in a lively and dynamic environment supporting medical equipment in a highly specialised hospital. You will be providing a wide range of medical devices support from commonly found patient monitoring through to the full range of specialist equipment found in operating theatres. You will be expected to deal with routine PM's and Electrical Safety Testing through to first line emergency repairs with the objective of returning medical equipment back into normal service as quickly as possible.
The successful candidate in this role will be currently be a medical engineer, probably already working in a UK hospital environment supported by at least two years experience of working with a wide range of medical devices. You will be familiar with the latest Electrical Safety Testing standard of IEC 62353 and recognised MHRA protocols for working with medical equipment in an EBME environment.
