Our Client is a major Hospital and treatment centre in East Anglia and immediately requires a Senior Medical Engineer to assist in supporting its EBME team to ensure that it delivers on its responsibility of making available medical equipment for use in the hospital at the right time.

You will be joining an experienced medical engineering team that is currently working flat out and subsequently needs a medical engineer to come in andprovide a full range of technical support services for medical devices from commonly found patient monitoring, right the way through to highly sophisticated operating theatre and critical care equipment.

Ideally you will already possess certificated training received from the OEM's in their specific ranges of equipment that demonstrate you are capable of carrying annual maintenance checks in accordance with manufacturers instructions along with carrying emergency repairs presented to the department from clinical users across the hospital,

To be considered for submision for this post ideally you must be able to demonstrate a significant period of already working in the medical engineering field here in UK NHS hospitals and that you are familiar with the essential protocols for protecting patient safety.  Consideration will be given to medical engineers who are currently working in the technical support of medical devices and also possess current eligibility to work in the UK.  You will need to be a confident person who can demonstrate accuracy and speed, can contribute effectively to the success of the medical engineering department without the need for detailed everyday support from the existing team.

Due to the location of the Trust local accomodation can be secured for the successful candidate.

If you feel that you can offer the skills that our client requires and can be availlable for an immediate start then give us a call straight away.
