Our Client is a rapidly emerging organisation in the delivery of projects and multi vendor services for the medical engineering world.  We require a number of entry level medical engineers to provide additional support for a majpr project in a world renowned London University Teaching Hospitals Trust.

The Trust is currently updating its medical devices infrastructure to be able to take advantage of the benefits of using the latest RFID technology.  All of its medical equipment asset register is being labelled with an RFID tag so that it can quickly and accurately track all of its medical equipment.

You will be working alongside existing members of the medical engineering team and systematically surveying all working areas of the hospital, identifying patient connected medical devices and applying an RFID tag, recording their essential details in order to create an accurate and updated record of their medical devices asset database.  The exercise is anticipated to take approximaetly three months during which time you will have surveyed three main hospital sites and a number of smaller ancillary locations.

This is going to be a fantastic opportunity for a recently qualified graduate in medical engineering or electronics who is actively seeking to start a career in the medical engineering world.  There is not going to be a better role in which you will see first hand the complete range of medical devices that an engineer will encounter in their career

The role will require a person who can show intitaitve and speed. You will also need to combine these skills with accuracy and IT skills in using excel or simple databases.   You will need to be a good confident communicator as you are going to be encountering many different people of all levels who work within the Trust.

If you think that you have this skills to be successful in this role and are available for work in the next few weeks then contact us immediately.
