Junior Medical Engineer - London

Our Client is seeking a Junior Medical Engineer to join their team immediately in London.  The role is to assist with a major hospital preventative maintenance update programme. You will be working in one of country's leading London based specialist hospitals and will be part of a very dynamic environment in a modern fresh environment.

The objective of the role is to provide a medical engineering support function in a structured programme to ensure that all medical devices acroos the hospital are uo to date for their PPM and Electrical Safety Testing as required by the MHRA.  You will be part of a team sweeping through the whole hospital for the next six months. The role will require you to be working in teams of two working alongside a Senior Medical Engineer.  You will sweeping though the hospital locating, checking and updating all commonly found patient monitoring equipment such as patient monitoring equipment, defibrillators, blood pressure monitoring devices, through to Infusion Pumps, Syringe Drivers and suction equipment..

You will be required to work supervised with an Electrical Safety tester and other appropriate dedicated test equipment, therefore knowledge of equipment class and type is essential, alongwith good strutured working methods, effective comunication skills and a capability to provide high levels of customer service. 

The successful candidate will be a recognised medical engineer who is familiar with UK medical device safety protocols and has previously worked in a UK NHS Hospital environment within the past two years.
