Decontamination Engineer - Cambridgeshire

A varied and challenging role requiring an extremely organised individual with strong communication and relationship management skills.  Strong analytical, organisational, decision making skills are also required.

  • ·        To respond to customer repair call outs as required in a timely, professional & friendly manner. Call outs will cover all products within the decontamination equipment          portfolio
  • ·        To complete the Planned Preventative maintenance of all products within the decontamination equipment portfolio at customer premises nationwide.
  • ·        To complete the Installation of all products within the decontamination equipment portfolio at customer premises nationwide.
  • ·        To follow documented controlled procedures to undertake all works and report works accurately using the company’s service management system.
  • ·        To ensure that the company vehicle is maintained.


Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years decontamination industry experience.
  • Previous experience of performing in a technical field service team.
  • WHTM 1 Qualified
  • WHTM 2 Qualified
  • WHTM 3 Qualified
  • Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Willing to travel and occasionally work unsocial hours
  • Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills
  • Ability to present information in a structured and balanced way
  • Can use standard applications to process, obtain and combine information such as mail merges, databases etc.

    The successful candidate must possess at least an HNC qualification, or equivalent, in Engineering and a minimum of 3 years decontamination industry experience.
    UK travel is a requirement of this role and, therefore, applicants must possess a full, clean UK driving licence.

  • Salary: £30,000 - £40,000
  • Van & Van allowance included in package
