Our Client requires Medical Engineer for a leading City University Hospital in the West Midlands.

This Medical Engineering role will be to support a wide range of medical devices found in a large Acute Hospital.  

Carry out PPM’s on medical Equipment, Servicing and calibration

Repair detailed fault finding, using service manuals (on-line, electronic or hard copy).  This will include both workshop repairs and on-site repair of fixed or larger equipment items. of faulty equipment

•             He/she will specialise in one particular area, having particular responsibility for maintenance and specialist knowledge of:

•             Infusion Devices, Patient Monitoring and general biomedical equipment or

•             Anaesthetics and Ventilation or

•             Laboratory Equipment

Knowledge of Equip (management system would be an advantage)

You will be working as part of a very supportive team with the objective of bringing up to date the annual preventative maintenance checks on many commonly found medical devices.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a successful track record of supporting a wide range of medical devices in a UK based hospital environment and be familiar with MHRA protocols for medical devices.
